Two Horses, Stable - This is from several years ago. Since then, the property this barn is on was sold by the local city, the horses stabled here moved, the accompanying house bulldozed, the stable in disarray, and the property fenced off.

Alligator, Salt Creek - For the record, I had a friend driving me around to take photos of Salt Creek for a class at USFSP. The friend casually pointed out, "There's a 'gator there!" My response was to get closer and take photos of the alligator. Friend finally insisted that I "get in the d#*n car!", then mentioned that he had figured my response to learning about the critter would have been to leave, immediately. C'est la vie.

4th of July Celebration - Continued - Several more photos from Pinellas Park, Fla.'s 4th of July celebration, held on July 3, 2011. Pinellas Park had held 4th of July celebrations, including fireworks, for a number of years, finally canceling in the late 1980s/early 1990s. Then, for several years, the city held celebrations on July 3; these celebrations only lasted a few years.
